Hops

Hops are flowers of the hop plant Humulus lupulus, used primarily as a flavoring and stability agent in beer. Interestingly, hops are in the same family of flowering plants as cannabis. For example, a brewer might say, “I use hops for their bitter, zesty, or citric flavors in beer.” The relationship between hops and cannabis is a testament to the diverse properties and uses of this family of plants.
