Lake Tahoe sits on the California-Nevada state line, and so does its cannabis market. Both states run legal adult-use programs, but they are run by different regulators with different rules: California is governed by the California Department of Cannabis Control, Nevada by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board, and product cannot legally cross the state line in either direction. For ski-trip planning that means matching the dispensary or delivery service to the side of the lake your resort sits on. Heavenly Mountain straddles both states, but its gondola base is in California and most of its base-area lodging is on the Nevada side at Stateline. Palisades Tahoe, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Kirkwood are all on the California side. Mount Rose Ski Tahoe and Diamond Peak are on the Nevada side. Where you buy, and whether you can have it delivered, depends on which one you booked.
The eight options below cover the practical scenarios. Five are licensed dispensaries with retail counters, one each on the Nevada and California shores plus three on the South Shore tourist corridor, and three are delivery services that run to short-term-rental addresses across the North Shore Truckee corridor and the South Shore Heavenly base. None of the major ski resorts permit cannabis on their property because the federal land underneath the lifts is still off limits, so the legal pattern is buy in town, consume in your rental or a private vehicle off-resort, and never carry across the state line. Every option below is verified active on the relevant state license database and serves at least one major Tahoe ski resort within practical driving range.
Quick pick by ski resort:
- Heavenly Mountain Resort: Embarc Tahoe or Tahoe Green on the California side; Tahoe Wellness Center for South Shore delivery.
- Diamond Peak / Incline Village: Beyond / Hello Incline Village, the only Nevada-licensed dispensary on the lake.
- Palisades Tahoe, Northstar California, Sugar Bowl: Tahoe Harvest Collection or Winter Greens for North Shore delivery (Truckee has no licensed storefronts).
- Sierra-at-Tahoe and Kirkwood: Embarc Meyers, the last Highway 50 stop before Echo Summit.
- Mount Rose Ski Tahoe: Silver State Relief Reno, the last Nevada pickup before the climb up Mount Rose Highway.

1. Beyond / Hello Incline Village, Incline Village, Nevada
- Address: 877 Tahoe Blvd, Incline Village, NV 89451
- Phone: (775) 404-5323
- License: Nevada CCB Active Retailer
Beyond / Hello Incline Village at 877 Tahoe Boulevard is the only fully-licensed Nevada dispensary on the Tahoe shoreline, sitting in a bend of Highway 28 walking distance from Diamond Peak’s base lodge and the Incline Village beaches (Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board). The location was rebranded under the Jushi-owned Beyond / Hello banner after a regional consolidation and now runs the chain’s clean modern retail build: pale wood counters, oversized backlit menu boards, and a queue that almost never stretches past the door even on powder mornings. Hours run roughly 9 AM to 9 PM seven days a week. The shop carries Jushi’s house brands (The Bank, Hillicon, Tasteology) alongside the major Nevada partners, with a small but well-curated flower wall and consistent stock on disposable vapes and rosin gummies sized for ski-day use. Bud-tenders here are used to first-time visitors, lift-ticket-holding tourists, and second-home owners running quick afternoon pickups. For Diamond Peak skiers, anyone staying at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe or one of the Incline lakefront rentals, and anyone driving the East Shore down from Mount Rose Highway, this is the only Nevada-side option that does not require a full descent into Reno.
2. Embarc Meyers, South Lake Tahoe (Meyers), California
- Address: 3008 US-50, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
- Phone: (530) 600-3040
- License: C10-0001398-LIC
Silver State Relief at 12240 Old Virginia Road in Reno’s Damonte Ranch is the last licensed Nevada pickup stop before Mount Rose Highway climbs out of the Truckee Meadows toward Mount Rose Ski Tahoe (Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board). The shop is one of Nevada’s original vertically integrated operators, with cultivation, production, and retail under the same roof, which shows up in pricing on house brands like Toasted Flower, Nature’s Chemistry, and Relief Resin. Hours run 8 AM to 10 PM seven days a week. The retail floor is large, well-lit, and engineered for fast turn: order-ahead pickup runs through a separate counter, walk-in queue moves through the main floor, and the menu screens are organized by effect rather than alphabet. Pricing is consistently the most aggressive in southern Reno on house product, with a points program that rewards repeat visits. For Mount Rose skiers, anyone staying at the Atlantis, Peppermill, or Grand Sierra and driving up to ski the next morning, and anyone making the Reno-to-Tahoe loop via the East Shore, this is the natural last stop before the climb. Save the receipt: Nevada cannabis cannot legally cross into California.

3. Silver State Relief Reno, Reno, Nevada
- Address: 12240 Old Virginia Rd, Reno, NV 89521

Embarc Tahoe at 4035 Lake Tahoe Boulevard is the closest licensed California dispensary to the Heavenly gondola, a six-minute walk from the base of Heavenly Village and inside walking range for anyone staying at the Marriott Grand Residence, the Zalanta, or one of the South Shore Stateline-adjacent rentals (California DCC). The retail floor is the gallery-style build that Embarc has rolled out across the chain: blonde wood, soft museum lighting, glass display cases at counter height, and a deliberately curated menu of small-batch California cultivators rather than a mass catalog. Hours run 8 AM to 9 PM daily. The flower wall leans premium with strong rotation from Connected, Alien Labs, Wonderbrett, and Embarc’s house Sundae School label, plus solid extracts from Raw Garden and 710 Labs. Pricing trends premium top shelf with a value tier on house pre-rolls and infused gummies. Bud-tenders here actually know which strains hit the way you want for an afternoon on the mountain versus a sit-down dinner in the village. Walk-in friendly with online express pickup that genuinely runs in under five minutes, which matters when you have a 9 AM lift to catch.
4. Embarc Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe, California
- Address: 4035 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
- Phone: (530) 600-3040
- License: C10-0000695-LIC
Tahoe Green at 3930 Lake Tahoe Boulevard sits on the Pioneer Trail corner a quarter-mile from Heavenly Village, locally-owned, and the South Shore alternative to the chain-house Embarc operation up the road (California DCC). The shop has the relaxed mountain-town feel that South Lake Tahoe locals grew up with: warm wood interior, a single-room retail floor, and bud-tenders who know returning customers by first name. Hours run 9 AM to 9 PM daily. The menu skips the high-end flex brands and concentrates on flower that South Shore locals actually buy in volume: Cream of the Crop, Pacific Stone, Ember Valley, and a rotating slot for whatever Northern California craft grower has new genetics in the building. Pricing trends mid-tier across the board with consistent eighth deals and a points-based rewards program that locals work hard to top up. The shop is a five-minute walk from the gondola and a four-minute drive from Stateline, putting it inside the same convenience zone as Embarc but with materially friendlier pricing on volume buys. For a ski week with a group splitting an Airbnb, Tahoe Green is usually the smarter stop.
5. Tahoe Green, South Lake Tahoe, California
- Address: 3930 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
- Phone: (530) 725-1555
- License: C10-0000751-LIC
Embarc Meyers at 3008 US Highway 50 is the last fully-licensed dispensary you pass on the climb out of the basin toward Echo Summit, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Kirkwood, opened in January 2024 specifically for backcountry-day and Highway-50-corridor traffic (California DCC). The Meyers gateway is the natural fuel-and-coffee stop for skiers driving up to Sierra or Kirkwood, and Embarc’s location matches the pattern: easy parking, a fast in-and-out lobby, and a menu pruned to road-trip-friendly product (pre-rolls, vapes, infused chocolates, beverages) rather than the gallery-curated experience at the Lake Tahoe Boulevard flagship. Hours run 8 AM to 9 PM daily. Bud-tenders here are oriented around quick decisions: tell them where you are going and what kind of day you want, get a recommendation, get back on the road. The Embarc house Sundae School label still anchors the wall alongside Connected, Cream of the Crop, and Pacific Stone. For Sierra-at-Tahoe and Kirkwood skiers driving up Highway 50 from the basin, this is the legitimately convenient stop. After Meyers, the next licensed retailer is well past the resorts.
Delivery to your Tahoe rental (North Shore and South Shore)
Truckee and the rest of the North Shore have no licensed cannabis storefronts under current local zoning, which makes delivery the only legal option for skiers staying at Palisades Tahoe, Northstar California, Sugar Bowl, or anywhere in the Tahoe City and Kings Beach corridor. The South Shore has storefronts but also has a long-running delivery operator that covers the Heavenly base lodging directly. The three services below are all California DCC-licensed and run same-day to short-term-rental addresses.
6. Tahoe Harvest Collection, Truckee, California
- Address: 10970 Industrial Way, Truckee, CA 96161
- Phone: (530) 536-3211
- License: C9-0000332-LIC
- Service area: Truckee, Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Carnelian Bay, Alpine Meadows, Olympic Valley, Tahoe Vista, Tahoe Donner, Donner Lake, Crystal Bay NV
- Order window: Monday to Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM, Sunday 12 PM to 8 PM, same-day delivery
Tahoe Harvest Collection is the North Shore delivery answer for skiers basing themselves at Palisades Tahoe, Northstar California, or Sugar Bowl. The retailer operates as a delivery-only licensed California operator out of an industrial address in Truckee and covers Truckee, Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Carnelian Bay, Alpine Meadows, Olympic Valley, Tahoe Vista, Tahoe Donner, Donner Lake, and Crystal Bay (California DCC). Order windows run Monday through Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM and Sunday noon to 8 PM, with same-day delivery as the default and one-to-two-hour ETAs across the North Shore. The menu is exclusively California-licensed cultivators with a clear preference for Northern California craft genetics: Talley Family Farms, Nasha, Sundae School, and the major partners. Pre-rolls and disposable vapes carry the deepest stock, which matches the actual ski-trip use case. Drivers are vetted, vehicles are unmarked, and the operation is built specifically for short-term-rental delivery: orders go to Vrbo and Airbnb addresses without friction, and lobby-drop coordination at Northstar Village condos and Olympic Valley properties is routine. For a North Shore ski week where nobody wants to drive the Trout Creek-to-Truckee loop after a powder day, this is the call.
7. Winter Greens Delivery, Truckee, California
- Address: Truckee, CA 96161 (delivery-only premises)
- Phone: (530) 562-7017
- License: C9-0000061-LIC
- Service area: Truckee, Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Northstar, Olympic Valley, Tahoe Donner, Donner Lake, North Lake Tahoe basin
- Order window: Same-day delivery, one to two hour windows across the North Shore
Winter Greens Delivery has been running North Lake Tahoe deliveries out of Truckee since 2019, predating most of the area’s competition and earning a quiet local reputation for being the fastest of the three Truckee-area delivery services (California DCC). The license covers same-day delivery from a non-storefront premises in Truckee out to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Northstar, Olympic Valley, Tahoe Donner, Donner Lake, and the rest of the North Lake Tahoe basin. Order windows are typically one to two hours from confirmation, with the operator tightening to the lower end on weekday afternoons and stretching to two hours on holiday Saturdays. The menu skews mid-tier and mountain-friendly: pre-rolls, infused gummies, disposable vapes, and a respectable flower wall covering Connected, Pacific Stone, Cream of the Crop, and a rotating boutique slot. Vehicles are unmarked and drivers run residential addresses without friction. For Northstar Village condo guests, Olympic Valley short-term renters, or anyone with a Tahoe Donner cabin, Winter Greens is usually the fastest practical answer if you missed the dispensary stop on the way up the mountain. Minimum orders apply and tipping the driver is standard practice.
8. Tahoe Wellness Center, South Lake Tahoe, California
- Address: 3445 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
- Phone: (530) 544-8000
- License: C12-0000002-LIC
- Service area: South Lake Tahoe 96150 residential addresses, including Heavenly base condos and Stateline-adjacent rentals
- Order window: Order by 2:30 PM for same-day delivery between 2:30 and 4:30 PM, $50 minimum
Tahoe Wellness Center at 3445 Lake Tahoe Boulevard is a South Shore institution: California’s first licensed cannabis microbusiness, opened in 2009, running cultivation, manufacturing, and same-day delivery from a single integrated operation that has been serving the South Lake Tahoe basin since before the rest of the legal market existed (California DCC). The delivery service covers South Lake Tahoe residential addresses inside the 96150 zip code, which captures Heavenly base condos, the Stateline-adjacent California rentals, and most of the Pioneer Trail corridor short-term-rental clusters. Order by 2:30 PM for same-day delivery in the 2:30 to 4:30 PM window, with a fifty-dollar minimum. The menu carries the in-house Tahoe Wellness flower line alongside the major California partners, with a pricing tier that recognizes locals over tourists: a real loyalty program, real returning-customer discounts, and a buyer team that prioritizes craft Northern California flower over big-brand chain product. For a South Shore stay where the group does not want to make the Lake Tahoe Boulevard run before sunset, Tahoe Wellness is the longest-running delivery option in the basin and the one with the deepest in-house catalog.
How to plan a Tahoe ski-trip cannabis stop
The first decision is which side of the lake your booking sits on. California product cannot legally cross into Nevada and Nevada product cannot legally cross into California, so a Heavenly trip with Stateline lodging is functionally a Nevada trip from a cannabis standpoint, while Northstar Village is a California one. Booking confirmation in hand, match the resort to the closest licensed retailer above. The second decision is whether to pick up or get it delivered. Pickup is faster and cheaper if you are already driving past a dispensary on the way to the resort. Delivery is the answer when you are already at the rental and would rather not lose two hours to the dispensary loop.
Verify the license. California-licensed dispensaries and delivery retailers appear on the DCC public search with a C10 (storefront), C9 (non-storefront delivery), or C12 (microbusiness) prefix. Nevada retailers appear on the CCB Active License List with an RD or D prefix. Anything outside those databases is not a legal cannabis retailer no matter how convincing the storefront looks. Tahoe sees a recurring rotation of unlicensed pop-up vendors marketing hemp-derived THCa or delta-8 products as recreational cannabis. They are not state-tested and they are not what you want at altitude.
The third consideration is consumption. Every major Tahoe ski resort sits on a mix of National Forest land and private base property where cannabis is prohibited regardless of state law, so the legal pattern is consume at your rental, in a private vehicle off-resort property, or at a state-licensed lounge (Nevada has them, California does not yet have them in the Tahoe basin). Hotel rooms inside Stateline casinos are technically casino property and have their own house rules. Edibles and rapid-onset gummies hit harder at altitude than at sea level, which is the single most common surprise tourists report. Start at half a normal dose for the first day above 6,000 feet.
